Sean Hayes mocks Madonna’s acting on ‘Will and Grace’

On Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Sean Hayes stopped by to spill the beans on some famous divas that have made cameos on Will and Grace, and Andy Cohen got Hayes to dish on the acting style of the one and only, Madonna. “Did she speak in an English accent behind the scenes?” Cohen asked. “A tiny bit, but she closed her eyes every time she delivered a line and opened them when it wasn't her line,” said Hayes. Hayes went on to demo this little known “close your eyes while you speak” technique for Cohen and co-guest, Sterlin K. Brown. With this airtight acting technique down, it’s a wonder that Patti Lupone would ever have said in regard to Madonna’s performance in Evita, “Madonna is a movie killer, she’s dead behind the eyes, she can’t act her way out of a paper bag, she shouldn’t be on film or on stage.”
