Yahoo Finance Live's Dave Briggs checks out the Senate's vote deciding to push the CHIPS and Science Act forward.

DAVE BRIGGS: All right, the Senate voted earlier today to pass the CHIPS and Science Act with 64 voting for and 33 against. Now, the bill will be sent to the House, where Speaker Nancy Pelosi has promised quick action. The bill includes over $52 billion for US companies producing chips domestically, as well as tax credits to encourage investment in chip manufacturing. We will speak with the president, CEO of Jobs Ohio about the passage in just a bit.
