Shocking Report: Airline Close Calls Doubled Since 2011

The FAA released a report on Thursday that planes flew too close to each other last year over 4000 times, that number has doubled from 2011. In addition to the close calls in the air there was 18 near runway collisions , the FAA said can be largely attributed to a new computer system and enhanced radar that automatically records every time two planes violate the FAA`s flight separation rules.
