DAVE BRIGGS: Back to school shopping season is fast approaching, and consumers in a dozen states are getting a sales tax holiday to help relieve some of the pressure on their wallets, especially from sky high inflation. You're looking at the states holding sales tax holidays this weekend. Several across the Midwest and South, including Texas, Florida, Illinois, and Iowa.

All the details on the holidays vary across states. They do include online shopping. And if you don't see your state on this map, don't fear. There are more states later this month holding their own sales tax holidays, including Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maryland. Good news.
