JULIE HYMAN: We have a Chinese merger here. Huya is going to be buying DouYu in an all stock deal. It is going to create a game streaming giant. And this was partially engineered by Tencent, which owns stakes in both companies, and is going to hold about 68% of the combined companies' voting shares.
This deal, by the way, values the DouYu 80 S's. That is American depository shares. At 18.83 each, that's about 35% premium. And the total value is around $6 billion. Huya shares are down nearly 11%. DouYu's are up by about 12%.
And then we've got another deal as well. Twilio-- those shares are up by about 6%-- is buying a company called Segment for $3.2 billion. Segment a tech startup that lets organizations pull in customer data from one app into another, so an expansion of what Twilio are already offers in terms of its services. And it looks like the shareholders like that deal.
