SEANA SMITH: Let's take a look at some of the afterhours movers this afternoon. A lot has to do with earnings. Activision Blizzard first up, up just about a 1/2 of a percent. Revenue topping expectations despite the slowdown that we've seen in the industry. Adjusted EPS coming in at $0.47, a bit light.

The big focus on the earnings call is going to be that $69 billion deal by Microsoft to buy Activision. We just heard from John Freeman of CFRA saying that Microsoft could actually pull out, potentially, of that deal. That, of course, would have a big impact on the stock. But again, shares moving slightly to the upside.

Pinterest another big mover here, up nearly 20% afterhours. Shares are soaring. Revenue, 666 million, up 9% from a year ago, slightly missing what the Street was looking for. Global monthly active users, 433 million. Elliott, 9% stake, another thing that investors are paying close attention to.

Avis another big name here, up just about 6% afterhours. Revenue, 3.2 billion, up 37% year over year, best quarter in the company's history. ZoomInfo Technologies rounding out the movers here, up 13%. Raising its full year 2022 EPS view, $0.78 to $0.80. Also beating on the top and the bottom line for its second quarter, 267 million better than what the Street was looking for. EPS of $0.21.
