Teachers March in Solidarity With Pro-Democracy Movement
Teachers in Hong Kong marched in the rain on the morning of August 17, in solidarity with pro-democracy protesters, the South China Morning Post reported.
Anti-government demonstrations that began earlier this year in opposition to a now-shelved extradition bill have continued throughout the summer, in the face of criticism from both local authorities and Beijing.
