All three major U.S. indices end Wednesday in positive territory

Yahoo Finance's Seana Smith breaks down how stocks closed on Wednesday.

Video Transcript

SEANA SMITH: All right, well, that wraps up what has been a wild trading day. All three of the major averages it looks like right now as we shake out the final trades are going to end in positive territory after the Fed raised rates by another 25 basis points.

You're looking at the Dow up just eight points, barely above the flat line, but we'll take it. The S&P up just about 1%. The NASDAQ the outperformer of the day. It's really the theme that has been this year. You're looking at the NASDAQ up just about 2% on the day.
