Time Inc's 120 Sports Targets Fast-Paced Sports Fans

Time Inc. releases 120 Sports, the latest digital network for sports fans. 120 Sports is a crucial move for Time Inc. after splitting from Time Warner in June. 120 Sports will stream sports clips, social media updates, polls and links for fans. Created for the digital generation, 120 Sports was designed to stream videos on mobile devices. As the name suggests, videos will only be two minutes. Content partners include Major League Baseball Advanced Media, the National Hockey League and NASCAR. One notable absence to the list is the National Football league. With live coverage starting Wednesday, 120 Sports will be competing with ESPN and Yahoo sports-NBC Sports Network for fans attention across the U.S. TheStreet's Kathryn Mykelseth reports from Wall Street.
