Video Transcript

DAVE BRIGGS: And if you are headed for a Broncos game, or frankly, any football game, this season, you'll need to bring the right stuff to your tailgate party. We're here to help you get all geared up. Let's start with the snacks. Brach's rolling out their official tailgate mix candy corn. the already divisive candy now debuts the flavors of hamburger, hot dog, and popcorn flavor. Social media reaction was savage as candy corn is frequently voted the worst Halloween candy. Let's give it a shot real quick.

SEANA SMITH: You didn't do much to sell this, I gotta be honest.

DAVE BRIGGS: Hamburger and hot dog candy corn?

SEANA SMITH: Yeah, I'm very, very nervous about it.

DAVE BRIGGS: Are you not excited for that?

SEANA SMITH: Are they all the same? Oh.

DAVE BRIGGS: How did it go? All right, let me just reach in there. Hamburger? Hot dog?

SEANA SMITH: Not good. I don't even know.

DAVE BRIGGS: I'm not a huge fan of candy corn to begin with.

SEANA SMITH: Me neither.

DAVE BRIGGS: So hamburger and hot dog?

SEANA SMITH: I have no idea what I'm tasting.

DAVE BRIGGS: I don't either.

SEANA SMITH: It has a weird kick. Wait for it.

DAVE BRIGGS: Oh.

SEANA SMITH: Give her ten seconds. Rachelle, you are so lucky you are not on set for this one.

DAVE BRIGGS: Hard pass.

RACHELLE AKUFFO: Usually, I'm a little bit jealous, but already, I don't like candy corn.

SEANA SMITH: Ugh.

RACHELLE AKUFFO: And the fact that they've tried flavors like roasted turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce before, it's like you took something that's already not great and then made it worse. Why? Who asked for this?

DAVE BRIGGS: Well, then, thankfully--

SEANA SMITH: Nobody.

DAVE BRIGGS: Thankfully, we have a chaser because Tito's also get on the tailgate act. They are trolling the entire canned beverage industry by rolling out these cans for sale. They are empty on their website. You can buy them for 20 bucks. Their whole point is, we want you to customize your own drink the way you want it to taste. I made Bloody Marys--

SEANA SMITH: You did. It's very good.

DAVE BRIGGS: --for Seana and I.

SEANA SMITH: I don't know how I feel about the can here. It's nice. Some of the proceeds, I think, are going to charity. But the drink in here is very good.

DAVE BRIGGS: All net proceeds do go to charity. It is a little bit much for an empty can.

SEANA SMITH: It is, yeah.

DAVE BRIGGS: But it is a clever troll of the industry, Rachelle.

RACHELLE AKUFFO: Well, I'm glad it's at least going to a good cause, 'cause I'm not paying $20 for an empty can, but love the promo.

SEANA SMITH: The Bloody Mary is very good.

RACHELLE AKUFFO: Well, that will do it for us. I'm Rachelle Akuffo-- OK, I'll have to take you up on that.
