Torrent of Floodwater Poses Problems for Pittsburgh Motorists

A thunderstorm brought severe flash flooding to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and surrounding towns late on the evening of June 20.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said a state of emergency was declared in Bethel Park, while first responders evacuated homes, business and drivers from swamped cars.
