Trump bids farewell in recent video
Yahoo Finance's Jessica Smith joined Yahoo Finance Live to discuss Trump's recent released farewell video.

JARED BLIKRE: I want to bring in Jessica Smith right now because you've been watching this President Trump farewell address just released a few minutes ago. It might be the last one of the administration. What do you see in this?
JESSICA SMITH: Yeah, he released this video just a few moments ago. It is about 20 minutes long, so we're still going through it. But as he addresses the nation, perhaps for the final time as president, he does tout his achievements. He's focusing on the economy, the China trade deal, the new NAFTA. He also talks about peace deals in the Middle East. So he went on to talk about his achievements, as he sees them, during his four years in office.
He also talked about the incoming administration, saying that he's praying for its success to keep America safe and prosperous. But he also says that the movement he and his supporters started is just the beginning. He did talk about the violence on Capitol Hill, saying that violence is not acceptable, condemning that violence.
He is leaving Washington, DC, tomorrow morning, before the next administration is taking that oath of office during the inauguration tomorrow. President Trump did say that he is optimistic and confident the best is yet to come.
