EMILY MCCORMICK: And another one to watch with some breaking news just crossing the tape now, Twitter CEO posting a series of tweets just moments ago, responding to Elon Musk's tweet from this morning and revealing new details about some of the changes he's made at the company this week.

One of the tweets reads, while I expect the deal to close, we need to be prepared for all scenarios and always do what's right for Twitter. I'm accountable for leading and operating Twitter. And our job is to build a stronger Twitter every day. He went on to say, the tech industry is facing a challenging macro environment right now. And that's why the company is making efforts to manage costs.

RACHELLE AKUFFO: Certainly never a dull day when we're looking at what's happening with Twitter shares, down over 9 and 1/2% there.
