Walmart heir Rob Walton’s $4.65 billion offer accepted by Denver Broncos
Walmart heir Rob Walton’s offer to buy the Denver Broncos for $4.65 billion has been accepted by the team, marking the largest bid for an NFL team to-date. While the Broncos have accepted, the offer must still be approved by the NFL.

JOSH SCHAFER: Walton, the Walmart heir, is the winner of the Denver Broncos at-- get this price-- $4.65 billion. So we're showing the rest of the ownership group right here. We have Rob Walton, as we already mentioned. And then we have Greg Penner, who's the Walmart chairman, Carrie Walton, who is Rob's daughter, and then Mellody Hobson, the CEO of Ariel Investments and chair of the board of the Starbucks Corporation. That $4.65 billion number, that is the largest sale in NFL history. It is the largest sale in North American sports history.
