The 25-story office building 1900 Pearl was purchased by the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio for about $700 per square foot or $180 million, which is possibly the most per square foot an office building has sold for in Texas, according to a report from the Dallas Morning News. Mustang's shares are blasting off in response to the news that an experimental gene therapy, MB-107, for "bubble boy" disease -- also known as X-linked severe combined immunodeficiency, or XSCID for short -- reportedly cured eight boys with the deadly condition. Shares of Uxin lost more than half of their value midday Tuesday after J Capital Research analyst Anne Stevenson-Yang issued a report claiming that Uxin has exaggerated the volume of auto sales it processes by as much as 40%, and that founder and CEO Kun Dai was making false statements about the business' strength while taking cash out of the business. The response helped Uxin shares to recover much of what they lost on Wednesday.

As most of you know, typically the first quarter is not the best quarter of our year for ServisFirst, and -- but we're very pleased with the solid growth that we did have in the first quarter, which is above average for our company over the last several years. On the deposit side, we had annualized deposit growth for the quarter of 10% and it was very broad-based, with Atlanta, Tampa, Mobile, Huntsville and Pensacola having the best growth. Typically, in the first quarter, we have very little, if any, deposit growth.
