New York City Reports Fewer Arrests During a Calmer Night of Protests

Jun.03 -- New York City “took a step forward” last night in dealing with the protests, Mayor Bill de Blasio said. He says the protests were mostly peaceful. People around the country massed to speak out against the killing of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who died after a white Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes.
