Chairman returning to CEO position at JA Solar Holdings
NEW YORK (AP) -- JA Solar Holdings Co. has named executive chairman Baofang Jin as its CEO, a position he previously held with the Chinese solar power product maker.
JA Solar said Monday that Jin will take over the role from Dr. Peng Fang, whose three-year term ends on Jan. 20.
Jin's appointment is effective on Jan. 21.
Jin previously served as CEO from August 2009 to January 2010. He has served as chairman since May 2005 and as executive chairman since July 2009.
