Grain futures, beef prices mixed

Wheat and corn prices fall on the CBOT; pork prices also fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 4 cents to $7.245 a bushel; July corn slipped 1.75 cent to $6.6025 a bushel; July oats were flat at $3.8625 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 10.75 cents to $13.83 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices were also mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 0.25 cent to $1.2340 a pound; May feeder cattle added 0.20 cent to $1.4080 a pound; June lean hogs slipped 0.57 cent to 92.25 cents a pound.
