Grain futures mostly fall, livestock prices fall

Wheat, corn and soybean futures fall on the CBOT; beef and pork prices also fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly fell Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 7.50 cents to $6.89 a bushel; May corn slipped 0.25 cent to $6.4125 a bushel; May oats were flat at $3.62 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 8.25 cents to $13.72 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 0.50 cent to $1.2270 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 0.32 cent to $1.4625 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.12 cent to 92.35 cents a pound.
