Pa. Oil & Gas Assoc. hires development director

WEXFORD, Pa. (AP) -- The Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association has hired a new director of Natural Gas Market Development.

The industry group said Monday that Joyce Turkaly will work to expand the use of Pennsylvania-produced natural gas.

The group said Turkaly will focus on natural gas vehicles and related infrastructure, using natural gas to replace coal and oil in electric generation, manufacturing, and natural gas liquids.

Turkaly, of Upper Saint Clair near Pittsburgh, was formerly with Hess Corp. She has a degree in media communications from Duquesne University.
