Race For City Comptroller Coming Down To The Wire

Looking at the current poll numbers heading into next week`s primary Weiner is almost dead last. Bill de Blasio is still leading the pack with 43-percent according to Quinnipiac university. Among likely voters, Weiner apparently only appeals to 8-percent of them just two points ahead of comptroller John Liu. Meanwhile, the race for Comptroller is much tighter. After holding an early lead, former Governor Eliot Spitzer trails Scott Stringer by two percentage points.
