Notable option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Huntington Bancshares (HBAN): Blocks of 3,500 contracts traded in the April 11 calls and the July 12 calls. It appears an existing position was rolled forward in time as an investor continues to look for upside in the name. HBAN rose 1.23 percent to $10.70.

Raptor Pharmaceuticals (RPTP): Traders sold approximately 7,000 May 10 puts for $2.30 to $1.75, positioning for upside in the drug developer. RPTP rose 9.03 percent to $10.50.

Rite-Aid (RAD): More than 18,000 Weekly 7.50 calls expiring this Friday, Jan. 2, were bought for $0.12 to $0.20 as investors look for quick upside in the pharmacy chain. RAD rose 0.40 percent to $7.44.
