Qihoo said near Google deal
The Chinese Web software and service company's shares soared 8.6% to a 7-month high of 29.69 on prospects that a partnership with Google (GOOG) will bolster revenue, Bloomberg reported, citing a Sina News article. Qihoo 360 Technology (QIHU), which started its Internet search engine in Aug., offers anti-virus programs as well as the most-used Web browser in China. The report quoted Wedge Partners saying it expects more growth in Qihoo based on its partnership with Google ads. Google rose 1.1% to 707.38.
