Saia REPORTS 3.3% Weight Increase and 4 Stocks Soaring to 52-Week Highs

Saia, Inc. reports that there was a 3.3 percent increase in weight per shipment. Less than truckload yield was up 7.1 percent because of the favorable impact of pricing actions. Shares closed up 19.73 percent on the day at $22.51, and have traded in a 52-week range of $9.27 to $23.17.

Farley Nuclear Plant was without incident taken offline at 3:03 a.m. Central Time, following plant processes and procedures, during which time employees safely conducted post-maintenance testing on a diesel generator. Plant Farley employees found that the diesel generator did not perform as expected during routine maintenance activities on July 20th.While checking out the matter, workers discovered that an engine cooling valve did not function properly, but have since finished the diesel generator repairs and are currently in the process of post-maintenance testing.
