The modern design of SBH South Beach Hotel is characterized by a minimalist approach to its interior design and the original contemporary art by the local Miami photographer Santino "Santlov" Sverdlov, whose pictures from the 2012 collection ToysRLikeUs are exhibited in rooms and hallways throughout the hotel. During its renovation, the group carefully preserved the original hotel's details, such as the private outdoor courtyard and terrazzo flooring that adorns the lobby, created by its architect, Henry Hohauser, when it was built in 1939 as the Liberty Arms Hotel.
