ITASCA, IL--(Marketwired - June 14, 2013) - Synegen, Inc., an industry leader and innovator of remarkable software design, celebrated the opening of its new home office in Itasca, IL. Signaling a new era for the company and the re-launch of its brand, Synegen hosted a cocktail party on June 11th to introduce the new space to its employees and members of the press.

Synegen's humble beginnings date back to 2001 when Northern Illinois University graduate Steve Karlovitz founded the firm with four employees, two clients, and a 300 square foot office. Boasting an impressive list of national and international clients, Synegen is now considered by its clients and peers to be the premier provider of exceptional technology services.

The new 8000 square foot, loft-like office space, located at One Pierce Place in Itasca, IL, is a far cry from the past. It's creative and unique, if not edgy, with swirling metallic-coated concrete floors, linear designed carpet squares, glass modular walls with embedded flat screen televisions, boutique-hotel style furniture, and work spaces that defy the predictability of the traditional office cubicle. The creation of a game room may seem like a throwback to the 1990's dot com era, but it will be a welcome diversion to Synegen's employees who often need a break from the glare of the computer monitor.

"I wanted our space to be fresh and uncluttered, a place where our employees are comfortable and can reach their most creative potential," said Karlovitz. "Most office spaces are relics -- dated and monotone. How can that stimulate creativity and energy?" Every material was carefully chosen to simulate movement. From the moment you enter the suite, you are compelled to proceed through the space. The curvature of the ceiling, the winding concrete path, the directional lines in the carpet -- it's fluid, just like technology. "Our designer says it's more 'chic' than tech. I say it's refreshingly out of the ordinary."
