The Countries Include Brazil, China, India, Mexico, South Africa and South Korea

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL--(Marketwire - Jan 17, 2013) - Water Technologies International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTII) announced today that through the law firm of Harris Shelton Hanover Walsh, PLLC., the published patents for the Company's Atmospheric Water Generators have been translated and filed in several countries, including Brazil, China, India, Mexico, South Africa and South Korea.

The orders for several Atmospheric Water Generators and filtration products have been completed and shipped. The units range in size from the home and office units, which produce seven gallons per day, to the 80 ton AWGs that produce thousands of gallons per day. The AWG and filtration units have been shipped to several distributors in different locations.

Water Technologies Inc.'s CEO, William Scott Tudor, said, "We are taking the time and spending money to protect our Intellectual Property. The patents cover several uses for the AWG product line. One such use is the device that bottles the water drawn from the ambient air. The need for drinking water and the use of AWGs is taking hold for use in several industries. Based on the growing market demand for our Atmospheric Water Generators as evidenced by increasing numbers on purchase orders received every month, it is becoming increasingly clear that our proprietary products are becoming a meaningful solution addressing the critical shortage of clean drinking water in developing countries as well as providing disaster relief."
