Wyndham outlook dissatisfies

The hotel and vacation rental company earned $1.67 a share, up 18.4% from a year ago and beating views of $1.63. Revenue rose 6.1% to $1.514 bil, missing views by $15 mil. Wyndham Worldwide (WYN) gave '15 guidance of $4.70-$4.85 on revenue of $5.4 bil-$5.5 bil, below estimates. For Q3, Wyndham's vacation ownership segment accounted for about 46% of revenue, which rose 4% to $704 mil. Shares fell 2.7% to 76.32.
