Young Hollywood Parties with Tove Lo and Alessia Cara at Teen Vogue Bash

Teen Vogue’s 13th annual Young Hollywood party celebrated the rising stars in the industry with fashion, live entertainment and no parents at a private Beverly Hills home Friday night.

One new kid on the block was “Mom” actress Sadie Calvano. “I think sometimes it gets overlooked how hard people work, especially in Hollywood and I think tonight honors that hard work,” said the TV star.

At 17 years old, “Modern Family” actor Nolan Gould said that he felt well beyond his years at the soiree. He started attending the event when he first started “Modern Family” five years ago along with fellow young stars and party attendees Sarah Hyland and Ariel Winter.

“I’ve been coming here since before I was a teen. I was, like, 12 years old. I feel like now I am kind of like the old man of this event,” said Gould.

He revealed that the annual gathering was one that he always looked forward to. “I’ve actually met some of my best friends at this event. It is one of my favorite events of the year because there are young actors who are your age in a fun environment,” he added.

According to “Black-ish” actress Yara Shahidi, many of the party guests knew one another — the community of young Hollywood is tight-knit.

“I’m here supporting my friend Mackenzie (Foy), who is in the issue, and we’ve known each other since we were 6. We used to lose teeth at the same time and do Guess covers together and Ralph Lauren and all of that,” she said. “I’m also glad that I get to see all of my friends who were working this year and hang out.”

Party guests surrounded the pool — which was filled with large golden swan floaties — to see musical performances from Alessia Cara and Tove Lo. The kids of Tinsel Town were singing every word during the private concert with a notable few dancing, including “Dope” stars Shameik Moore and Quincy Brown, when he stepped from behind the DJ booth.

Disney Channel’s “Dog with a Blog” actress Genevieve Hannelius was looking for a friend to dance with before three teens decided to jump onto the floating golden swans. The evening under the stars was also lit by cell phone screens as teens documented the live event on Snapchat and Instagram.

Guests also mingled inside the house before the party cleared at around 11 p.m. The event, also sponsored by Emporio Armani, drew other famous guests, including Max and Charlie Carver, Kat Graham, Mae Whitman, Emily Osment, Laura and Vanessa Marano, Victoria Justice and Kiernan Shipka.
