Jim Cramer and Stephanie Link: Sometimes You Have to Let Go of Good Companies

Stephanie Link and Jim Cramer discuss having recently sold some industrial names including Boeing, 3M and some energy stocks. But they say they still like these companies and still may return to them. Cramer says 3M is a great company but the stock is going down and the same goes for Boeing. He says 3M, Boeing, Marathon Oil, Occidental Petroleum had no yield protection. He adds that sometimes you cannot justify holding on to a great company if you know the stock is going down. Stephanie says you will want to revisit some of those companies because names like 3M, Lear, Stanley Black and Decker are doing the right thing. They've either beat and reiterated or beat and raised guidance and that's why you'll want to return to these kinds of names.
