AAR: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot

WOOD DALE, Ill. (AP) _ AAR Corp. (AIR) on Tuesday reported a fiscal third-quarter loss of $37.4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Wood Dale, Illinois-based company said it had a loss of $1.08 per share. Earnings, adjusted to account for discontinued operations and non-recurring costs, came to 79 cents per share.

The airplane maintenance company posted revenue of $529.5 million in the period.

AAR expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.50 to $2.57 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.01 billion to $2.03 billion.

AAR shares have declined 6 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $35.10, a decline of 18 percent in the last 12 months.
