AAR: Fiscal 4Q Earnings Snapshot

WOOD DALE, Ill. (AP) _ AAR Corp. (AIR) on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $22.8 million.

On a per-share basis, the Wood Dale, Illinois-based company said it had profit of 65 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 64 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 62 cents per share.

The airplane maintenance company posted revenue of $562.7 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $7.5 million, or 21 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $2.05 billion.

AAR expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.45 to $2.65 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.1 billion to $2.2 billion.

AAR shares have climbed 5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $39.20, a drop of 19% in the last 12 months.
