Amazing Energy Appoints Marty Dobbins as New CFO
PLANO, TX / ACCESSWIRE / October 24, 2018 / Amazing Energy Oil and Gas Co. (AMAZ) ("Amazing", "Amazing Energy", or "the Company"), today announced that it has appointed Marty Dobbins as the Company's new Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Dobbins brings more than 40 years of corporate and financial management across a variety of industries, with a focus on guiding companies expanding into new markets. After graduating from Sam Houston State University, Mr. Dobbins accepted a position in the Audit Department at Arthur Young & Co., CPAs. His entrepreneurial spirit resulted in him leaving Arthur Young & Co. to establish his own CPA firm in Deer Park, Texas, where he practiced for approximately 25 years. Simultaneous with running his CPA firm, Mr. Dobbins also served as President and CEO of K&W Resources, Inc., an oil and gas operator, Managing General Partner of Cafe Adobe Restaurants and Vice-President and CFO of Guardian Fire Protection Co., Inc., a firm specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of fire protection systems within petrochemical complexes. From 2007 to 2014, Mr. Dobbins simultaneously served as President of Franskill, Inc. a consulting firm that assisted companies with global expansion and exit strategies, advising them on complex financial structures and brand building methodologies models and as the Chief Global Investment Analyst for Motorskill Venture Group, LLC, the parent company of Franskill. For the past four years, Mr. Dobbins has been the President and CEO of InFocus Venture Group, LLC, a company that provides investment consulting services to companies desiring to acquire, sell or merge businesses.
