NEW YORK (AP) _ Chimera Investment Corp. (CIM) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $118.1 million.
On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had profit of 54 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 57 cents per share.
The mortgage investor posted revenue of $355.1 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $147.4 million.
Chimera shares have risen slightly more than 7% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased slightly more than 9% in the last 12 months.
