Would you be able to give me a list of companies that offer you work from home jobs? I am retired and want to work at something other than retirement.
Great question, Toni! Whether to supplement your retirement funds or stay professionally active (or maybe a bit of both), remote jobs are a great way to work in retirement.
Every year, the remote and flexible job search website FlexJobs analyzes its database of over 51,000 companies to find the 100 that posted the most remote-friendly jobs over the course of the year. “Remote-friendly” means the openings must offer some level of remote work (such as “100 percent remote work,” “partial remote work” or “option for remote work”). If you want to work from home all of the time, without ever setting foot in an office, make sure to focus your search on exclusively remote jobs.
Overall, these 100 companies represent more than 15 industries and are headquartered across 10 different countries. These 100 companies posted thousands of work-from-home jobs in 2018 and are a good bet to continue hiring people to work from home in the coming years.

When we analyze the full list of 100 companies, we find that certain career fields offer a lot of remote opportunities, so consider looking for work in one of these areas: computer and IT, medical and health, sales, education and training, customer service, accounting and finance, and HR and recruiting.
If you want to work for one of these companies, or any other that offers remote work, maximize your chances by following the advice we gave John about landing a work from home job.
Tailor your resume for remote work. Include any previous remote work experience you may have. Write about the skills that would make you a successful remote worker (written and verbal communication, ability to work independently, comfort with technology).
Use a Technology Skills section on your resume to list the programs and apps you’re familiar with, such as instant messaging programs, file sharing, document collaboration, video conferencing and other online collaboration tools.
Set up a home office space so you’ll have a quiet, uninterrupted place to get work done. Make sure you have high-speed internet and a relatively up-to-date computer so you can keep up with the pace of work.
