ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. (AP) _ ConnectOne Bancorp Inc. (CNOB) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $18.7 million.

The bank, based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, said it had earnings of 58 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 59 cents per share.

The holding company for ConnectOne Bank posted revenue of $58.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $41.7 million, missing Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $60.4 million, or $1.86 per share. Revenue was reported as $163 million.

ConnectOne shares have climbed almost 9 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 29 percent in the last 12 months.
