DOJ OKs InBev-Modelo deal

The Justice Dept. agreed to terms to let Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD) buy the other 50% of Grupo Modelo it doesn't already own for $20.1 bil. The DOJ, which initially sued to block the buy, had signaled recently that a settlement was near. Constellation Brands (STX) will get the U.S. license for Corona and other Modelo brews. In fact, the DOJ will require Constellation to ramp up output at the Piedras Negras brewery in Mexico for the U.S. market. Constellation shares rose 1.5%. InBev rose 1.6%.
