Gusto TV to Launch Canadian Premiere of Smash Hit 'My Kitchen Rules' Season 6 on June 1
OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - May 14, 2015) - After five hugely successful seasons, the #1 television series in Australia returns to Canada, and only on Gusto TV.
Back by popular demand, the latest season of the international mega-hit series My Kitchen Rules will see a whole new set of real-life contestants compete in a culinary competition like no other. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Australia, the show follows home chef teams as they travel across the country in a plate vs. plate competition, transforming their own homes into an "instant restaurant," and then moves on to a variety of large-scale challenges involving on-site cooking for emergency workers, farmers, pub patrons, airline passengers and wedding guests. The results are entertaining, often funny, surprising and inspiring, and the winning team takes home a grand prize of $250,000 and instant fame.
The show is hosted by celebrity chefs/judges Pete Evans, author, TV presenter and international advocate for the controversial "Paleo Diet," with Manu Feildel, a France-born celebrity chef and restauranteur, and the 2014 "GQ Chef of the Year."
