As you can see these stocks had an average of 36.5 hedge funds with bullish positions and the average amount invested in these stocks was $742 million. That figure was $1730 million in CSGP's case. MSCI Inc (NYSE:MSCI) is the most popular stock in this table. On the other hand Ventas, Inc. (NYSE:VTR) is the least popular one with only 29 bullish hedge fund positions. Compared to these stocks CoStar Group Inc (NASDAQ:CSGP) is more popular among hedge funds. Our calculations showed that top 20 most popular stocks among hedge funds returned 41.3% in 2019 and outperformed the S&P 500 ETF (SPY) by 10.1 percentage points.
