Love Island is over for another year, but if you're having withdrawals there is somewhere you can live out your own villa dreams – or maybe even spot a genuine Islander in the wild.

Where is this magical place? It's Marbella, because of course.

From TOWIE alumni to the Love Island elite, Marbella is the de-facto choice of so many reality TV stars. But whether you are heading to Marbs to soak up some sun or try and schmooze to get yourself into the next series, then attending at least one beach club should be at the top of your to do list.

With the shores of Marbella already being graced with the presence of celebrities such as Dani Dyer and Joe Garratt from Love Island, we've compiled a list of the top beach clubs to see and be seen at.

Ocean Beach Club

For probably the best known beach club of them all, attracting celebs and mere mortals from across the world – it has to be Ocean Beach Club. In the heart of Puerto Banús just moments from the main promenade and designer boutiques, OC's salt water pool and Balinese beds are waiting to invite you to enjoy a cocktail or two mixed by the in house mixologist.

Although this is one of the more expensive clubs on the list, it is a must for anyone looking for the ultimate Marbella experience. Famous for the champagne parties that occur on the last Sunday of every month and the weekly Friday and Saturday day parties, they even have their own photographer on hand who'll take pictures of you at your best angles, so you'll take plenty of Instagram-ammo home with your tan.

La Sala

Like most of the beach clubs on this list, La Sala is situated in the party capital that is Puerto Banús. La Sala has a more of a chilled vibe compared to the others in this list, but that doesn't stop it being packed at the weekends.

This Thai-inspired beach club is located near the port entrance and offers Balinese beds to hire along the beach and surrounding the central pool. If you want something a little more lavish than hanging around the tropical bars being serenaded by the DJs and live sax players, you can hire out your own private Jacuzzi.

Ride 7km from the centre of Marbella to one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain and you will find Nikki Beach. The Nikki Beach brand has 14 clubs located in the most exclusive destinations and Marbella especially doesn't disappoint.

Famous for its themed parties and incredible music, here you can hire a bed either on the beach or around the pool and then top up that tan while watching the rich and famous arrive on the shore in their private yachts.

We suggest heading over to Nikki Beach for their 'Amazing Sundays', where you can treat yourself to amazing tapas and two hours of bottomless champagne.

Plaza Beach

For those on a budget (do budgets exist in Marbs?) Plaza Beach is one of the more affordable beach clubs in Puerto Banús, with beds starting at €20. There is no central pool in Plaza but there are plenty of hot tubs if you really feel the need to be near the water – and at least the sea will always be in your eyeline.

Sisu Day Club

Although not technically on (or near) a beach, this is a great place to really let loose. Located away from the beachfront of Puerto Banús in Sisu Boutique Hotel is the Sisu Day Club and the parties here are some of the wildest in Marbella.

The space gets pretty tight on the weekend, particularly at the Saturday Old Skool Kisstory parties, so get ready to literally rub shoulders with the beautiful party people. If it all gets a bit too much, you can always escape to their very photogenic toilets to update the 'gram.
