You Can Now Buy Hugsy, the Famous “Friends” Couch, and Other Props From the Show and I Need it All
Get ready Friends fans, because you finally have a chance to own a piece of the iconic TV show thanks to a brand new auction that is starting early next month.
In honor of the show's 25th anniversary, fans will get the chance to participate in an auction with more than 100 props from the iconic series up for grabs. While not all of the props that will be available have been revealed, Warner Bros. announced that Hugsy, a reproduction of the iconic Central Perk couch, Monica and Chandler's wedding invitation, and Joey and Chandler's canoe are just some of the items that fans will get the chance to pick up throughout the auction.
Fans who are interested can register on the auction's official page and anyone who signs up will get the chance to win a script from the show, even if they don't get the chance to win one of the lots.
The auction is set to start on December 3, Giving Tuesday, and will continue until December 17. Not only will the auction give fans the chance to own some of the show's iconic props, all of the proceeds will be going to The Trevor Project.
"The series gave us so many laughs during its original run and continues to entertain and inspire fans around the world. It’s an honor to be able to bring some amazing original pieces to the fans, such as Joey’s original Hugsy doll," Brandon Alinger, COO of Prop Store, said. "We’re also happy to offer detailed studio-edition reproductions, including the Holiday Armadillo costume, Central Perk couch and ten copies of Monica’s peephole door frame, straight from the Warner Bros. Props department."
So get your computers and wallets ready, cause you're definitely going to want to get your hands on some of these items before it comes back with a possible reunion.
