Could Ivanka Trump be receiving a royal invite to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding next year? The first daughter tweeted her congratulations to the American actress on Friday, December 15, after Kensington Palace revealed the pair’s wedding date — May 19, 2018. “Wishing Meghan and Prince Harry a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together,” President Donald Trump’s daughter tweeted.

Ivanka, 36, added, “I have no doubt that this couple will do extraordinary things, both individually and collectively. Congratulations!”

The Suits alum, 36, has previously sung the Women Who Work author’s praises. Back in 2014, the TV star interviewed Jared Kushner’s wife for her former lifestyle blog, The Tig. Meghan shared her interview with the businesswoman on Twitter, tweeting, “Sigh...it doesn't get better than this stunner.”

In her piece, Prince Harry’s fiancée described Ivanka as “Staggeringly beautiful, no question, but so incredibly savvy and intelligent that she’s not just carved a niche for herself under her father’s famed Trump notoriety, she has undoubtedly created her own empire.”

Meghan continued, “It’s so easy to knock the girls who come from privilege – to assume they rested on their laurels and garnered accolades simply by being fancy from the womb. But I always remember Ivanka being different – she wasn’t dancing on tables as a teenager or releasing pop albums. She wasn’t running amuck publicly, swearing and being smacked with DUIs. Instead she was graduating from The Wharton School (cum laude, I might add), launching the Trump Hotel Collection, and building her own brand. Her eponymous brand, which, by the way, seems to include every covetable thing one could imagine.” The royal bride-to-be also revealed that she used to late night window shop Ivanka’s jewelry collection and admired her “beautiful designs.” “She does it all,” Meghan noted of Ivanka.

At the time, the pair made plans to possibly meet for drinks and dinner the next time the Hollywood star was in New York. “I often ask powerful and successful women how they balance it all – juggling work, being a mom & wife, taking time for yourself and taking care of yourself, straddling the line between letting yourself go or looking like you just stepped off a runway (or at least had the time to put some lipstick on),” Meghan penned. “How do they do it? How does she do it? This much I know – when we have drinks, I will make sure I order whatever [Ivanka] does – because this woman seems to have the formula for success (and happiness) down pat.”
