Kate Middleton’s Garden Pays Tribute to Princess Diana in the Most Beautiful Way
Every year since 1913, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has held The Chelsea Flower Show on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London. One of the most buzzed-about exhibits this year is a Back to Nature garden designed by none other than the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, with the help of landscape architects Andree Davies and Adam White.
According to the RHS, Kate's creation is a woodland garden "inspired by childhood memories and with families in mind" as a retreat from the busy world where visitors could play, learn, discover, and create memories from May 21 to May 25. At the center of the garden is a gorgeous, high platform tree house "clad in stag horn oak," swinging seat, waterfall, and stream.

Wild trees and shrubs and a cool calm color palette of green and blue make this garden a relaxing and calming space, while the planting includes edible produce, plants for craft activities, food for wildlife and nectar to attract pollinators. A playful pathway bordered with beautiful foliage textures weaves through the garden, around the rocks and stepping stones. - Royal Horticultural Society
While the description alone is enough to draw crowds, Country Living UK pointed out another special touch within the garden, that was definitely no accident considering Kate was using memories and family to inspire her design. Amongst the flowers in the space, you can see forget-me-not flowers, a favorite or Princess Diana's, adding extra blue to her color scheme. Can you spot them behind the photo of her on the swing? Looks like Kate was on the same page as her sister-in-law, who alluded to Princess Diana with the same flower in an Instagram post on Mother's Day.
I am most definitely crying.
