Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Intel (INTC): More than 29,000 April 22 calls traded against previous open interest. That suggests existing traders don't want to be forced to sell their shares at expiration today, and reflects a bullish sentiment. INTC rose 0.63 percent to $22.38.

Dell (DELL): Some 9,500 August 13 calls were bought, mostly for $0.74 and $0.75. Volume was below open interest, so they may have been exiting covered-call trades in the computer maker. DELL is down 3.58 percent to $13.46.

CenturyLink (CTL): Some 12,500 May 35 puts were bought for $0.35 and $0.40. Investors also bought shares in the telecom as part of a delta-neutral trade that will make money from increased volatility. CTL rose 0.90 percent to $37.18.
