WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Defense Department on Thursday awarded a $450 million contract to Northrop Grumman Corp (NOC.N) to produce the Joint Threat Emitter, a mobile air defense threat simulator, as well as support equipment, testing and training.
