PKR Live Returns in 2013
Eagerly-awaited seventh incarnation to be hosted by UK's first supercasino
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Mar 28, 2013) - Next-gen poker room PKR today announced details of PKR Live 2013, the latest event in the site's popular live tournament series. Hosted in London by the UK's first supercasino, Aspers Stratford, PKR Live 2013 will feature a $500 buy-in 3-day Main Event played over Easter weekend 2013 (29th to 31st March). More than 300 players are expected to take part giving an anticipated six figure prize pool.
Designed to offer its famously social player base an exciting yet affordable live poker experience, PKR Live was first held at London's Loose Cannon Club in 2008 before moving to the Fox Poker Club. The events gained a reputation for fusing big money poker with the unique friendly community atmosphere for which PKR has become synonymous. Former winners include UK pros Karl Fenton and Rob Angood, and Bluff Europe editor Philip Conneller, while the likes of EPT champion Toby Lewis and WPT title holder Adrien Allain have also graced previous final tables.
Aspers Stratford sits atop the Westfield Centre overlooking the 2012 Olympic Village. The state-of-the-art casino boasts one of Europe's biggest poker rooms, a highly professional cardroom team and exceptional facilities - a glamorous slice of Las Vegas in London.
