Holiday season is in full swing and ELLE Decor is making yours even more festive with its pop-up café at New York’s iconic Plaza hotel.

Designed by Sasha Bikoff, the ELLE Decor Café at the Plaza is located at the famed Rose Club, which was once a popular venue for entertainers like Billie Holiday, Bob Hope, Liza Minnelli, and Kay Thompson. Along with showcasing her passion for energetic, global-inspired interiors, Bikoff reimagined the iconic space to reflect its rich jazz roots.

The New York-based decorator's passion for color is also on full display. One example? Her lavender and rouge-colored Uptown Toile fabric, featuring a woman enjoying activities like walking down Fifth Avenue with poodles, taking a bubble bath, and dancing at a nightclub. "My favorite part of design is always textiles—I think it’s what makes a space come to life," Bikoff says of her eye-catching fabric choice, which is used for the café's drapery and seating.

Partnering with the Plaza hotel on this unique project just in time for the holiday season is fitting for ELLE Decor, especially as the magazine recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. “Part of ELLE Decor’s mission is to showcase the stars of the interior design world and show how design can transform spaces from uninspired four blank walls to the most magical, Instagram-worthy spaces," says Robinson.

"What I hope is that a project like the ELLE Decor Café at The Plaza shows the world how interior design can make us happier, make us live better, and allow us to dream."

The ELLE Decor Café at The Plaza is open for business through March 31, 2020. Visit Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Saturday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. See the full menu here. Reservations are not required.
