Restoration Hardware: Fiscal 2Q Earnings Snapshot

CORTE MADERA, Calif. (AP) _ Restoration Hardware Holdings Inc. (RH) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $98.4 million.

On a per-share basis, the Corte Madera, California-based company said it had profit of $3.71. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $4.90 per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $3.44 per share.

The furniture and housewares company posted revenue of $709.3 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $709.7 million, also topping Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $695 million.

Restoration Hardware shares have climbed 50% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $321.08, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
