Santander Holdings to buy remaining shares of Santander Consumer USA

July 2 (Reuters) - Santander Holdings USA Inc said on Friday it will buy the remaining outstanding shares of common stock of Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc not owned by it for $39 per share in an all-cash transaction.

Santander Holdings USA, which currently owns about 80% stake in Santander Consumer USA Holdings, said the latter will become a wholly owned subsidiary if the transaction is completed. (Reporting by Sohini Podder in Bengaluru; Editing by Shinjini Ganguli)
