SeaChange International interim CFO is permanent

ACTON, Mass. (AP) -- Video software company SeaChange International said Thursday that its interim chief financial officer was appointed to the job on a permanent basis.

The appointment of Anthony Dias took effect Wednesday. He had been interim CFO since May. Dias also got the titles of senior vice president and treasurer.

Dias, 47, joined SeaChange in 2007 as vice president of finance and controller and became chief accounting officer in 2012. He had previously worked at LeMaitre Vascular Inc., Candela Corp., Globalware Inc. and Aldiscon Inc., according to SeaChange.

The company's shares rose 19 cents to $10.75 in afternoon trading.
